My gorgeous niece Ruby turned 2 today. She requested a "Boots" cake. For those of you without children or kiddos older than 5, Boots is a character from Dora The Explorer. I myself had to do some research!
Oh my! Did you sculpt Boots yourself? That cake looks absolutely amazing. My daughter had to settle for a homemade one-bowl chocolate cake! Nothing so gorgeous and elaborate!
that is just about the cutest cake i've ever seen. beautiful!!! it's my bday tomorrow and my husband promised to bake me a cake but i have a feeling it won't look anything like this!! :)
Amazeing job.My son loves Dora so I'm fishing for some ideas for his cake...I allso want to compliment for the idea behinde the blog...All the luck Mama from Bosnia
the cake is so cute that i squealed like a little girl when i came across your blog! : )
i was wondering if the fondant/gumpaste models (ex: mushrooms) were dried before you adhered them to the cake? did you use royal icing to glue them on?
This is precious! Great job!
