Lana's Birthday Cupcakes

My daughter came to me at lunchtime today and said she needed a plate to take to a birthday BBQ tonight for one of her friends..... I had some overripe bananas in the fruit bowl, so some (quickly put together) blossoms, a few sprinkles and some milk chocolate buttercream later we have a rather pretty addition to the dessert table :O)

  2. Wow, love the pattern on the buttercream - what sort of nozzle did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

  7. I am doing the Wilton Cake Decorating Course 1 and have just learnt to make the "Wilton buttercream". Out of interest do you use this recipe or the usual one with butter in it rather than shortening? I like the consistency of the Wilton one but the taste of the NZ traditional one ! I wish I could just "whip" up cupcakes that looked like yours !
