Ring-O-Roses

My Mum turns 70 on Tuesday. Today we had a family BBQ to celebrate.

Handmade edible ribbon roses and pearls.

Chocolate fudge cake layered with ganache... thought I'd add an 'inside' shot for you to see :O)

Happy birthday Mum

Not just on the outside either, your fudge cake looks incredible on the inside too! My chocolate cake crumble and fall apart once cut, how did you make your so deliciously dense?

  14. Thanks!

Amanda, try a mud cake recipe. The are very moist and dense, keep well and slice nicely too. Paired with chocolate ganache you can't go wrong :)

I am not sure what country you are from but in NZ and OZ they are very popular.
